Eric C. Hale

Proficient in providing positive results, Eric C. Hale is your go-to for collections recovery in South Carolina. Eric graduated from the University of South Carolina with his B.A. in political science in 1998. Later, in 2003, he graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law with his Juris Doctorate. He then took some time to further his dexterity in law. In 2015, he joined forces with Wylie W. Clarkson to start their own firm, Clarkson & Hale.

After the firm was founded, Eric's focus dealt primarily with litigation. To this day, he continues to handle legal disputes for individuals and businesses. From start to finish, Eric works on all moving parts of his clients' cases. This includes pleading, discovery, mediation, trial, and appeal.

Along with litigation, Eric is an efficient defender for people. He takes on cases involving personal injuries, like automobile accidents. He also handles property damage, fraud, assault, battery, defamation and other cases. While most lawyers are competent on one side of the law, Eric has the knowledge to defend both. That said, whether you're the injured or the one being accused of causing the injury, Eric has your back. Eric also transcends expectations in the area of defending against criminal charges. This can include DUI, drug possession, assault and battery, traffic court, and other charges.

Eric currently serves as the Town Attorney for the Town of Irmo, a testament to his passion and love for the community. As the Town Attorney, he is responsible for helping the Town Council with several different types of municipal concerns. One of his responsibilities involves prosecuting various criminal matters that occur.

Knowledgeable in the field of law, Eric is a certified South Carolina Mediator and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association as well as the Richland County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the South Carolina Courts, the U.S. District Courts of South Carolina, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in South Carolina.
