Wylie W. Clarkson

Partner

Wylie W. Clarkson received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2006, and a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2009. While in law school, he was a member of the Charleston Law Review, and his Law Review article was published by the journal. He also interned for Judge Robert Carr, U.S. Magistrate Court, while in law school. Wylie primarily handles: consumer debt collection and commercial debt collection matters, representing creditors in bankruptcy, and complex commercial collection cases in South Carolina. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the South Carolina Courts and the U.S. District Courts of South Carolina as well as U.S. Bankruptcy courts in South Carolina.


Eric C. Hale

Attorney Eric C. Hale

Eric C. Hale received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 1998, and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003. In December of 2015 the general practice of Law Office of Eric C. Hale, LLC with Clarkson Law Firm, LLC.

Eric primarily handles litigated matters. In that capacity he represents individuals and businesses in legal disputes, including all aspects of the case: pleading, discovery, mediation, trial and appeal. Eric also represents clients in auto accidents, property damage, personal injury, fraud, assault, battery, defamation and assorted other cases both for the injured party and in defense of persons sued for alleged wrongful conduct. Additionally, Eric routinely defends against criminal charges (DUI, drug possession, assault and battery, traffic court and assorted other criminal matters). Eric is the acting Town Attorney for the Town of Irmo where he assists Town Council in assorted municipal related matters and prosecutes certain criminal matters for the Town. Eric is a certified South Carolina Civil Mediator. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the South Carolina Courts and the U.S. District Courts of South Carolina as well as U.S. Bankruptcy courts in South Carolina.


Elias Fain

Associate

Elias Fain received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2010, and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 2013. Elias is engaged in all aspects of the firm’s collection and litigation practices where he handles: consumer debt collection and commercial debt collection matters as well as litigating civil and criminal matters and appeals. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the South Carolina Circuit Courts.
